While the are not technically one of the 37 mercenary races within the Galactic Union they are actively working to be recognized as one. They are an amphibious otter analogue.
Originally encountered by the Golden Horde mercenary company on their home planet as the Salusians, a number of brave Salusian warriors were illegally uplifted by the Golden Horde in order to help them survive the trap that the Mercenary Guild laid for them prior to the official start of the Omega War.
They are extremely playful and not the best at following orders. They are primarily in the employ of the Golden Horde mercenary company where they pilot the textAvengertext-class bombers. These bombers can be filled with water making the SalSha incredibly G-tolerant during space fighting.
