The Teachal are a bioengineered creature in the Galactic Union.
They are small, carnivorous creatures similar to chickens and small dinosaurs. They are partially feathered, come in a variety of colors, and weigh around a kilo.
They have adapted to life in space, and their eggs can survive in vacuum for up to 36 hours. Once they have infected a ship or station, they are extremely hard to get rid of.
