The Vaga are a race in the Galactic Union.
They evolved on a heavy gravity planet and are strong and tough. They look something like a dung beetle.
Their frontal carapace can stop bullets and is shiny enough to sometimes deflect lasers, so they are occasionally used for mercenary contracts. However, they are not the smartest species in the Union, so while they can withstand much fire, they are not terribly effective soldiers.
