The MinSha are one of the the 37 mercenary races in the Galactic Union. They have a matriarchal society with most warrior mercenaries encountered being female. Their species displays sexual dimorphism with the females being larger than the males.
They resemble a bipedal praying mantis with ruby red compound eyes and iridescent blue chiton. Their blood is based on copper, not iron, making it blue.
They have a strong sense of honor and will do what they promise to do. They are, however, very literal, and will stick to the letter of what they promise only, not any implications.
They use ceremonial spears to duel.
